Juřica, Jaroslav

Jaroslav Juřica was born in 1980 in Vsetín. His studies at the furniture-making school brought him for the first time to the furniture design. During his studies at the secondary school, he began to be also interested in how furniture comes into being from another point of view, not from the technical point of view only. Jaroslav has graduated from the Faculty of Creative Arts at the Technical University Brno, where he got a rector’s prize for his Master’s Thesis. As he also wanted to acquire the world view of furniture design, he travelled to Sweden where he attended the school of industrial design at the Lund University.
